November-March
Winter will be milder than normal, on average, but cooler than last winter. Precipitation and snowfall will be greater than normal. Expect snow accumulations in late November, around Christmas and the New Year, in mid to late January, in the first half of February, and in the second week of March. The coldest temperatures will occur in mid January and the first half of February.
April-May
June-August
June through August will be cooler than normal, on average, with less than usual humidity. The hottest temperatures will occur in late June and early August, but there will not be any prolonged heat waves. Rainfall will be below normal in the northwest, but heavy thunderstorms will add up to above-normal rainfall in the southeast.
September-October
September and October will be cooler and wetter than normal, with unseasonably cold temperatures in late September.
